This is going to be my first year at university and I have decided (after a long process) that I am going to study Visual communication or in other words- Graphic Design. I am so excited to get started on this course!
The reason I created 'The Samantha Room' is because I discovered a handful of blogs and became a dedicated follower to their updates. One day I realised that I could potentially share my creative thoughts too, so I created The Samantha Room! I'm not necessarily looking for success from a blog, Just friends, somewhere to write and to share my creative thoughts with the world. I hope you enjoy!
When did ' The Samantha Room' start? I wanted to teach myself html coding before I released my blog so I spent a year learning web coding and designing my blog. I then streamed my blog live in 2015.
What is your favourite shops? The obvious answer to this is Kikki K. I also love IKEA, a wee shop called Iko Iko, and Cotton On.
Who is your inspiration? Anyone who runs a blog! I admire all the lovely people who dedicate themselves to their blog and spend all their time and effort writing beautiful posts to share.
Who do you look up to? I look up to Demi Lovato for personal inspiration. My favourite person is Andy Warhol, not just for his artwork but personality and what he accomplished in life. I also really admire Miss Zali and her families work.
What type of programs do you use for this blog? I use Illustrator and Photoshop cs5 which are very handy for design work. For my photographs I have a Canon EOS 1200D and IPhone 6s if my camera is not ready.
